| Echo Point Park, Roseville Chase |
| This walk provides delightful views of Middle Harbour and the opportunity to walk through remnant bushland. It commences at the site of John Bate's homestead at Echo Point, the first farm on Middle Harbour. The creek which was the family's water supply and the site of the original jetty are visited.
An easy stroll along Middle Harbour on paths constructed duting the 1930's Depression takes us to the site of two Aboriginal middens which indicate continuous occcupation of the site for 1500 years.
Further up the Harbour the sites of the Roseville Baths and the original Roseville Bridge are visited.
A short steep flight of stairs leads back to the upper level of the park and an easy stroll to the starting point of the walk. |
