| Berry Island is an isthmus at the end of Shirley Rd Wollstonecraft. There are toilets and a picnic area. Children will be given a list of things to find on the walk such as an Aboriginal band aid, an old man's beard or a plant to make tea with. The walk also includes information about Aboriginal life in Sydney such as how the rock engravings and grinding grooves were made and fishing methods. |
